For this week's episode we ventured to Greensboro, North Carolina to try out a new spot in downtown called Bourbon Bowl! Bourbon Bowl is a locally owned bowling alley with a full bar and restaurant. There are 6 bowling lanes, a cocktail bar featuring a variety of bourbon and other amazing cocktails, and indoor/ outdoor dining featuring "craft" food!

We went right when they opened at 4:00 on a Monday and were surprised that they were already pretty busy! Right when you walk in you get a full view of everything Bourbon Bowl offers. With trendy decor, neon signs, lively music and an open concept the vibes of this place are amazing. While we didn't bowl when we went we really enjoyed the food and cocktails. This would be an amazing place for a date night, or a night out with friends.

At Bourbon Bowl for food we tried the appetizer sliders, fried pickles, the brisket mac, and the club sandwich. For drinks we tried the Trouble maker which was Tito's, grapefruit juice and fresh raspberries and a Red Oak which is a classic locally brewed beer.

The appetizer sliders came with a grilled burger patty, topped with cheddar cheese, a pickle, and their special burger sauce. The pickle on the sliders was the perfect size and the special sauce could be compared to an In-and-Out sauce which really elevated the slider. The fried pickles were classic and came with some amazing house made ranch, they were not overly fried but were a little oily. The Brisket Mac was a generous serving of cavatappi noodles coated with creamy beer cheese, topped with beef brisket, bourbon bbq sauce and toasted breadcrumbs. The Mac was incredibly creamy and definitely a "craft" option for a classic mac and cheese. The club sandwich was a classic club but featured a garlic mayo that really took the sandwich up a notch and was served with a side of crispy fries.

If you're looking to grab a drink, grab a bite to eat, or bowl Bourbon Bowl should definitely be at the top of your list if you're looking for new spot to go in Greensboro. Regardless of what you order you definitely won't be disappointed by their extensive selection of craft food and drinks.
